Cone 019 - Overglaze Firing

Cone 019 overglaze firing is a gentle, low-temperature cycle used to mature lusters, decals, enamels, and other decorative finishes after the main glaze firing. Because overglaze materials melt and bond at much lower heat, this firing protects the underlying glaze while giving the surface its final shine or design. It’s a quick, delicate step that adds character and detail to finished pieces. If you’re working with new overglaze materials or want to be sure your piece is suitable for this temperature, we’re always happy to take a look and help guide you. I try to keep pricing simple - $20 for the Kiln load and $1 per piece.
