This large bowl completes the Black Clay collection and was made to be both functional and deeply grounded.
Handcrafted from black clay, the bowl is intentionally heavy, giving it a strong, reassuring presence on the table. The interior is finished with a satin black glaze that is smooth and refined, while the exterior is left as raw, burnished black clay, creating a rich contrast in texture and tone.
A thoughtfully shaped notch at the rim keeps a serving spoon from rolling or slipping into the bowl. Opposite the notch, a subtle finger indent is formed into the side, making the bowl easier and more comfortable to lift. Together, these details allow the bowl to be carried, passed, and shared naturally at the table.
